Publishing standards with XML

Standards are an indispensable instrument in modern economy. The first recognised German standard (DIN 1) was issued in 1918 by the German Institute for Standardization (DIN). Since then the German Institute for Standardization has developed over 26,000 German standards.

To make working with standards easier Beuth Publishing provides economists, lawyers and prospective users with solutions and services for searching, finding and analysing standards. Based on SGML/ XML and in close collaboration with Ovidius Beuth has developed a range of powerful tools to provide users with quick access to relevant, standard-related information.
