In March 2007 Ovidius officially registered as "Authorised Training Centre" of across Systems GmbH. Both companies affirmed their commitment to the strategic partnership between XML and translation memory experts. Customers using the XML-based CMS TCToolbox by Ovidius will especially benefit from the new all around service provided by the XML experts from Berlin. In addition to training courses Ovidius offers phone support and distributes across licences. With the close collaboration of Ovidius and across both companies aim to promote the seamless integration of the translation memory system across and the XML-based CMS TCToolbox.

Ovidius is the only company in the northeast of Germany that offers certified across trainings. As across Training Center we work with original across documents. We offer standard and customer-specific training courses to Ovidius customers and anyone interested in learning how to work with across. Training courses will be held at our headquarters in Berlin or on-site at your location.

Klaus Fenchel, managing director at Ovidius, particularly stresses the benefits of authorised across training courses for Ovidius customers: "With the seamless integration of TCToolbox and across we have been able to automate the process of content creation, translation and publishing to a large extent. The strategic partnership of Ovidius and across is based on promoting a seamless integration of across and TCToolbox, which allows for time savings of up to 40 percent in technical documentation. With crossTCT the translation process can now be triggered in TCToolbox and status changes in the translation memory system across can be monitored. Once the translation has been finished it is imported back into TCToolbox.
