29.06.09, Ovidius approves XMetaL Author Essential 5.5 for use with TCToolbox

TCToolbox, the XML-based Content Management System for technical documentation can now be used with XMetaL Author Essential 5.5.  

XMetaL Essential will appeal to firms not planning specific DITA applications and who just need the “essential” XML editor functions. This version of XMetaL also does not contain extensions that form part of the standard XMetaL Enterprise Edition. This is directly reflected in XMetaL Essentials' price. A single user license currently is 441.00 EUR, plus one year's maintenance and VAT.  

TCToolbox customers can upgrade without any cost to this version of XMetaL, if their current licences are under maintenance.
