Publishing help files with XHelp

With XHelp, a structure-based publishing system for fully automated typesetting of large complex documents, XML and SGML documents can easily be transferred to various online help formats. XHelp is part of our content management system TCToolbox and is deployed in many technical documentation departments.

XHelp generates the following formats:

• HTML Help
• Java Help
• Web Help

XHelp automatically provides

• a consistent layout defined once and used for all output formats
• consistent navigation in all output formats through a dynamic table of contents, breadcrumbs (optional), secondary windows and pop-ups (optional) and indices.
